Lessons from our expert ski and snowboard instructors are a cost-effective and a fun investment. We offer a wide variety of options for beginners to experts. Remember that proper skiing and snowboarding technique is the key to making the most of these two sports. 
Group Lesson

Cost: $29 per hour
Lesson times: 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m.
One instructor is placed with a group of students of similar age and ability. Group sizes vary, but are always kept at a reasonable number to ensure an effective lesson. Be sure to arrive at the mountain approx. one hour before your class time. Out of consideration to other class members, latecomers will not be allowed to interrupt classes that are underway. Lessons are one hour long. Minimum age: 6 years old. No need to make reservations-just show up ready to learn!  Participants are required to purchase a lift ticket or possess a season pass.

Private Lessons

Cost: $62 per hour
Lesson times: On the hour, 10 am- 6pm.
Private ski or snowboard instructions are available at your request. Ask for your favorite instructor or we can make recommendations to best fit your needs.  Reservations are recommended.  Participants are required to purchase a lift ticket or possess a season pass.

Semi-Private Lessons

$62 for 1st student; $29 per additional student
Lesson times: On the hour, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
One instructor is placed with two or three students of similar levels of ability and compatible ages. The customer provides the students and must be at a similar level of ability. Lessons are one hour long. Minimum age: 6 years old.
Reservations are recommended.  Participants are required to purchase a lift ticket or possess a season pass.

Adult Workshop

The Adult Workshop is a program designed for those who want to learn to ski or board, or adults who are looking to improve their ski or board technique. The program meets Wednesday mornings for five weeks and includes a one-hour group lesson each session.
Class sizes are kept to a minimum to ensure personal attention in a fun and friendly environment. Students are placed with others of a similar level of ability. Grown-ups are guaranteed a great morning out on the snow with adult instructors. Registration is required class time is 10 am.  Participants are required to purchase the program lift ticket or possess a season pass.

Women's Snowboard Workshop with Chickie Rosenberg

Dispelling all myths that snowboarding was for the young, Chickie Rosenberg was 50 years of age when she first strapped on her board. Now a Level 2 AASI Certified Snowboard Instructor at Killington Resort in Vermont, Chickie has written a new book titled "SNOWBOARDING FOR WOMEN: A Guide For The Betty Shred Wannabe".  A "Betty" refers to a female rider, and her book tackles the issues many women riders face, including the fear of heights, speed, and the extreme weather conditions.

Chickie will present and host a program for women riders at The Hidden Valley Club. Dates, times & price for the 2008-2009 season TBA. The Workshop will consist of a clinic for beginner and advanced riders, lunch with Chickie and time to free ride with a full-day lift ticket.
This Workshop is subject to availability and will be announced a the beginning of each season.

Freestyle Snowboarding Workshops

These 3-day workshop are open to riders ages 8 to 108, to be held on three consecutive Saturday mornings during the month of February. Those who enroll will build and develop their freestyle skills throughout this focused, three-session coaching workshop. Workshop classes will be kept small so that the coaches can work directly with each rider to develop and hone their skills throughout the progressive terrain. Select the workshop appropriate for you! Participants must be able to ride intermediate and advanced terrain, but are not required to have any freestyle experience. Lift ticket and rentals are not included with this program and all participants must have a lift ticket or season pass.

MiniShreds Workshop (ages 8-12 years)
MasterShreds Workshop (ages 13 years & older)

Advanced ADULT Weekend Workshop

A 3-week clinic workshop for the advanced skier. Our seasoned professionals will guide you through terrain and conditions you may not venture into on your own. We'll help you learn the skills needed to build your confidence, improve your technique and master all terrain under any conditions to conquer the mountain! The Focus will be on personal skiing improvement and the skills to conquer higher level terrain and varied conditions.  Participants are required to have a lift ticket or possess a season pass.
